Surat ke 17

Dear Brother,

I hope you are doing well, InshaAllah. I know you hard to understand why I become likes monk to you, but still I wanted to take a moment to share something I ve been reflecting on that I think we both can benefit from.

In Islam, we are reminded to fear Allah above all else. But something that I've come to realize is that we should also fear ourselves-our own weaknesses, our desires, and the choices we might make that could lead us astray. It's so easy to focus on the faults of others, but we must also remember that we are accountable for our own actions, our own hearts, and our own decisions.

I've been thinking a lot about how we must strive to be aware of our weaknesses and flaws. The fear I'm talking about isn't the kind that paralyzes us, but rather a fear that makes us conscious of our limitations and reminds us to always strive to improve ourselves. We should fear straying from the right path, not out of despair, but with the awareness that we need to constantly turn to Allah for strength and guidance.

None of us are perfect, and I know I have my own shortcomings, but this fear can motivate us to seek forgiveness and to push ourselves to be better, to purify our hearts, and to live in a way that aligns with the teachings of Islam. It's easy to become complacent and think that we are doing enough, but we should always be aware of the constant need for growth and self-reflection.

May we both be vigilant about our actions and hearts, seeking Allah's mercy and striving to walk on the straight path. Let's always be mindful of the fact that no matter how much we strive, we are nothing without Allah's guidance and forgiveness.

May Allah keep us both on the right path and protect us from our own weaknesses.

With love and dua,
Your Sister,
